Agate
Agate is a banded form of quartz, known for its earthy tones in vibrant reds, oranges, yellows, and blues. We created a design based on this stone using many layers of color to create depth and interest, and used an algorithm to make it a perfect repeat. We then printed this on mica-coated paper to add a lustrous finish. The finished product is at once complex and understated and adds dimensionality when installed on a ceiling or wall.
