My son's college roommate, Carlos Womack, came to stay with us one summer. I saw his notebook full of drawings of people he had seen on his summer travels and asked if I could make a wallpaper out of them. I overlapped the drawings and made them interconnect. I love the whimsical nature of it. And yes, Carlos does get a commission. See "Friends" for a wallpaper of dogs using his drawings.
